Marsha Vicaire is a Mi'gmaq from Listuguj First Nation. She is in her second year of the M.A. in Educational and Counselling Psychology (Learning Sciences) and is interested in studying the factors that influence academic success among First Nation students. Prior to entering into graduate school, Marsha coordinated a national research grant, National Network for Aboriginal Mental Health Research, and was involved in an international project examining the factors that promote resilience within Indigenous populations.
