Vanessa is currently a Research Assistant in the MYST lab. She has recently completed her B.A. in Honours Psychology at Concordia University. In the following year, she aspires to undertake graduate studies in the Child/Applied School Psychology program. Her interest in working with children who have special needs began 4 years ago, when she started working for the Westmount YMCA Department of Child Development's summer camp and after-school program. This interest soon flourished into a passion, first working as an Integration Aid (shadow) and later as the Coordinator of the integration program. Vanessa now wishes to conduct research in order to explore atypical development by focusing specifically on attention and perception.
